Host a Concert

We need two types of volunteer hosts: hosts for garage concerts, hosts for in-home fundraising events. Contact us if you’re interested.

Garage concert hosts: Open up their garages to create a make-shift amphitheater for community concerts that are free to attend (although donations are encouraged) and last about 30-50 minutes. Hosts are also responsible for inviting their neighbors, family members, friends — and generally spreading the word about a concert. We expect you to aim for at least 30 people showing up. This is a chance to have your friends and neighbors spend quality time together and connect. We will also help spread the word about the concert outside of your immediate community and even sell tickets for reserved seats — depending on how many people your garage/driveway/front yard/property can accommodate. These concerts are planned months in advance, so please reach out and let’s talk!

In-home fundraiser hosts: open up their homes, or other locations that might make sense, and invite people they know who may be interested in supporting the arts with tax-deductible financial donations. These are often dinners or lunches, and include musical performances. Hosts are expected to commit to raising a certain amount of revenue per event. We very much need people to step up and host fundraisers for our young organization, so please don’t hesitate to reach out!
